My DH & I are considering a Toy Hauler and we want one with a garage. We both race dirt bikes so while we are not at Disney we want to keep our bikes inside while we sleep at the track. We are considering a Campmaster. Does anyone have any input or opinions about these? While we are at Disney we will take our gas powered golf cart:moped: , but we leave the cart outside. Any input would be greatly appreciated.:)

I am on toy hauler # 3. The first one I had I wish I still had. It was a 2004 Tailgator. It had 2 couches that folded into beds on each side and a bed that came from the roof in the back area. The kitchen was in the living room area and the bathroom was in the very front. It was ok for a couple people.

The 2nd was a Hobbi. I didn't even keep it for a year. The outside was very cool and it was pretty sleek looking (even matched my truck color) but the inside floor plan was the worst I've seen. The biggest problem was the bathroom was so small. You had to step over the toilet to gt into the shower.

My current hauler is an 08 Cougar 5'er. Great camper if you want to haul 1 4 wheeler or a golf cart. When I bought it I should have taken my 4 wheelers to the dealer to see how they fit but dumb me said the garage is soooo big it won't be a problem. Well it is. I also lost the bed of the truck so no bike back there either. If you have a couple extra guys you can move the 4 wheelers over enough to let 2 in. Very tight though. I used to could haul 3 in the trailer and throw 1 in the back so this hurt a lot. Like I said I love the floorplan for regular camping but it's not something to drag to the forest.

I almost got the Campmaster when I bought the Tailgator. Actually was fixing to hook and and said nah I don't think so. I like being able to haul my bikes but have some living space as well. There have been so many on the market since I bought but the one I originally liked and still like is the Keystone Hornet Hideout 29 footer. They make a 27 footer now with a slide. The 29 I think was discontinued but you can find an 03-06 for around 15k. I wouldn't pay more unless it's clean. This model has a garage which if you really want can become a sleeping area (ducts in back). There is a king bed over the garage and of course the dinette folds down and there is a bedroom up front. There's not a ton of just sitting around space but who wants to sit inside. It's good for camping in campgrounds and dry camping as well. This was one of the last 100 gallon fresh water tanks made. I see you have dirtbikes and it's always nice to have them in a protected area. The garage will be perfect. I always hated knowing my bikes were outside and I had read a lot of bikes get ripped off but luckily so far it didn't happen to us.

Gatordad just purchased a 5'er toy hauler so maybe he has some ideas as well. Good luck. Toy haulers are a blast.

I've got a Weekend Warrior 3005 SL. It's a 5'er but no garage. The garage portion to me was wasted space, as once we got where we were going, we wanted where our golf cart was to be living space. I know you want the garage so I won't tell you how I love the Warrior.

We bought a Crossroads Crossforce 5er this past year. We wanted a garage that could be used as a living area yet be used to haul stuff if we needed. The nice thing about the Crossforce is that it is lighter than most so you can tow it quite well.

Ours has an 8X10 garage separated by a wall, and door, from the rest of the living area. We finished it off and put carpet in it. It has a bed that comes down from the celing. By day its my son's playroom and by night its his bedroom.

There are tons to choose from. Good luck

The Campmaster is a nice product but I truly believe you will be much happier in a regular Fifth Wheel if the budget allows and the tow vehicle.

We have a 25' Desert Fox 24AS TT. It doesn't have a garage, but we camp more without toys than with, so it made more sense. We love it, but it is very heavy for a 25' TT. Max weight is 12K!
