Townhome pool heat - yes or no

We are going in the middle of October and I am wondering if I really need pool heat or not.

We are from Minnesota so what is cold to people in the south, is warm to us. So I just am wondering if I really need this or not. It is pretty expensive.

We are from Kansas City and it was cool enough for us to want the heat on for our pool. It does make all the difference in the world especially if those evenings are a bit on the cool side.

We stayed in a townhouse during the first week of November a few years ago. The management company forgot to turn the pool heat on and the pool was just too cold to swim in. (They came right away and turned it on when we called). The cover was on the pool before the heat was on, but the nights got chilly enough that the water just couldn't get warm enough without the heater.

Man! I was hoping for a different answer. We are renting (and paying for) 4 townhomes for 4 nights for family. That $15-20 per day is going to add up quick!

I'll agree with the others and get the pool heat. We were there the first of Oct a few years ago and needed it. We're from Nova Scotia but it was still too cold to be comfortable and enjoy it. You could just heat two and have everyone use those.??? ( but it would be much nicer for everyone to have their own)
You do have the main pool which is close to the townhouses that everyone could use.

Great idea! Just heat a couple of the pools or if you are close to the community or clubhouse pool use that. Although, I have to admit I LOVE that we have a private pool we can use at any time. It really helps for our ease and comfort when we are in from the parks and don't want to have to go anywhere in particular. LOL
