Has anyone ever stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott on State College Blvd. in Anaheim?

Yes! I have stayed in most hotels in the area, this was pretty good.... Now I did stay in low season so my opinion may not be relevant at peak times.

TPS are small condo-type rooms with a full kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, stove, etc and all are full size) Small living area with sofa, and various bed types. The studio with one queen is cozy - I was alone and it was just right.

Check in is seated in the 'office' and as it has some limited service don't expect a full service Marriott. Staff very friendly. Small strip mall next door with a Starbucks and I don't remember what else.

On a shuttle bus route with Rip Van Winkle motel etc when I stayed there, and since nobody was staying at those little motels the service was very quick. Don't expect to be in the 'resort' area (hah not there is one, but the city of Anaheim likes to think so) The hotel is nearer the Duck Pond than Disneyland, and not much around the hotel itself.

I did see the fireworks from Believe from my room one night - very exciting!!!

There is no restaurant at the hotel, typical with TPS, so be prepared.

Any other questions?? Sorry but I am leaving the country again this week so may not respond right away, but if you do a search you may find another post from me on this hotel.
