Hugs to John... and sending lots of "painfree pixie dust" his way.. I never thought a broken bone hurt until I spiral broke my fibula and tibia in my left leg.. I learned real fast that yes they hurt like heck. I am so sorry that he had to have surgery too.. ouch, ouch, ouch.. Please know that we are thinking of you and wishing you a relatively speedy recovery...

Be nice to him family.. this hurts like heck..

Bummer! I broke my ankle a few years ago and I have a plate and screws in my leg. The good news about surgery is that John will probably not need a cast because of the plate and he'll be able to get his leg wet in the shower. I bought a shower stool at K-Mart which really helped .

I'm so sorry. I broke my ankle last year, it is not fun. When Towncrier can get back on the computer he should check out www.mybrokenleg.com lots of people in the same boat and great support. They helped me so much those first few months post break.

Thanks Sarah and Mrs. TC for the update. Prayers and pd coming from out west from another tc. I sure hope John's doing well today. Alot of the time, it's the day after surgery when the pain's the worst. Mrs. TC, I'm saving some prayers for when he's home. If he's anything like my husband when he's recovery, you'll need it!
