Towncar Tipping Question

I am trying to determine which towncar service to use. I was looking at the Happy Limo website and saw under the FAQ that a gratuity of $20 (roundtrip) is automatically added to the bill. Is this a standard practice for all the towncar services? I had planned to tip this much anyway but I'm not crazy about places that automatically determine the amount of tip that you have to pay...seems more like a fee that way instead of a tip for good service. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kaylasmom, My family used Tiffany Towncar 2 years ago. They were great. Even though our plane was 2 hrs late a very cheerful nice man was waiting for us. We also had a free 1/2 hour grocery store stop which was very nice. If I remember right we tipped $20.00. I'd say that sounds about right. I hope you have a great trip.

I generally tip $20 ($10 each way) and wouldn't be happy if it was automatically added...

I'm the opposite...I like for the tip to be added on automatically so I don't have to worry about the cash or figuring it out (that's the amount I give anyway). We use Happy and have always been very pleased with the service, so it has worked out well for us. However, if the service didn't meet my standards and I felt the amount was not deserved, I would feel free to speak up about it. Happily, we have never had that problem...I have often even added more.
