Towncar through Disney

Anyone ever book a towncar through Disney? I had to call them today about our ressies and the guy started pushing M.E. and I said N.O. and then he started telling me about the towncar or limo service. I believe he said it was through Star? Anyhoo, anyone ever done this? The rates were $79 each way (tip not included), but they would be willing to make stops (including in front of the entrance sign for pics) like the other guys do. We didn't do it because we still have not booked our airfare. But I also wanted you guys' opinions first!!

Is this for a towncar or a limo? $79 each way for a towncar seems a little steep to me. We paid $90 (plus tip) for our rides with Tiffany Towncar and a little more than that with FL Tours. But limos are more expensive than towncars.

The only town car service I have used through Disney was Trio Trans. They were booked through the concierge IPO office. They were wonderful! I figured if the IPO booked them and used them all the time there would be no issues. I have never heard of Star though, sorry.

Hi,

We've used Star the last 3 trips, they are prompt & friendly always helped with our luggage, never had a problem with them. We never requested a stop so I'm not sure on that. We have them again for our Nov. trip, have heard other had a few minor problems. Hope this helps.
