I am leaving for Disney next Friday (12/12) and have decided that I am going to cancel my rental car reservation, because the price is just too high and it's really not needed since I'm staying on property and will use disney transportation. I am looking for a good reliable towncar service to pick me, my daughter and my best friend up at the airport when we arrive. I remember seeing somewhere, that certain towncar companies had complimentary car seats and some even had stroller rentals for a small fee, I was wondering if anyone knew of a towncar service that offered both services? If you do, do you know of anyone, or have you used a stroller from these towncar companies and if they had any problems with it?

Thanks in advance...

I know I just posted this question..but please if you know anything I would appreciate your help. I really would appreciate it. Thank you.

So many people lurking and reading my post, yet no responses. I am in need of desperate help here, I thought that's what these boards were here for..oh well..

We used FL Tours last week. They had the requested car seat for DH's nephew (7 mo) and a booster seat for DH's niece (4.5 yrs). My SIL had to re-adjust the straps on the infant seat, but that was not a big deal. They were very prompt and even had Finding Nemo playing on our way to the Dolphin and during our grocery stop for the kids to watch. We were very pleased with them.

I don't know anything about strollers since my SIL brought her own.

We used Tiffany and they provided a very good carseat. But my daughter took her own stroller.

I never rent a car at wdw either, its so easy to use the transportation and I travel alone with my two daughters so it dosen't make sense to leave the property.

I have used Tiffany and Fl Tours and both companies were great. Tiffany always had a booster seat when I reserved it advance, and at no charge. My dd had outgrown a carseat by the time we tried Fl Tours so I don't know about them and booster/carseats.

Most if not all the companies offer a 20-30 minute grocery stop which, imho, is a must if you don't have a car. This way you can stock up on reasonably priced breakfast foods, sandwich stuff, snacks, soda and juice and milk boxes. We get a cooler as well but you can rent a fridge from the resort (a mere $10.70 a day!).

I haven't heard anything about a town car company renting strollers but we haven't needed one for a while.

Once my girls reached 2 1/2 to 3 I rented the park strollers. If your child is younger you may want to consider bringing one as it can help in the airport or renting from an offsite rental company. My sil used abbf.com and had good service, this was about a year ago but I still hear good reports on the boards.

I guess my best advice is to hit a few of the "favorite" town car companies web sites and do some reading. You may have to send a few e-mails but that's really the only way you are going to get good accurate information. I would start with Fl Tours and then Tiffany - the only two I will continue to use. YMMV

You may also want to try posting on the family board, lots of mom's with great advice there.

We don't have kids, but I am almost positive that Happy Limo offers both services. I remember seeing someone post here about renting a stroller, and I remember a driver once mentioning to us that she was going to pick up a child seat after dropped us off for her next pickup. They have a toll-free number, so it's a free call to double check, and I have a coupon for them on my website. They've always been very reliable for us...as a matter of fact, we just used them this past weekend for our Thanksgiving Disney cruise.

We used Tiffany last week and didn't need a car seat or stroller. However, as we were loading the trunk I noticed that there was a car seat in there. I'd just ask when you make your reservation.

I don't know about the car seats, but it's not bad travelling with your own stroller. You can take it to the gate and gate check it. Tell the people at the gate counter & they'll attach a tag. When board, fold it & leave by the plane door. It'll be waiting when you get off the plane. The hardest thing is folding it to get through security. It has to go on the belt.

How old is your daughter?

Thanks everyone for your responses. I've gone ahead and just booked with Tiffany Towncar (if you have a horror story with them, please don't share it with me now!!). I sent in the reservation request form, however am still waiting for a confirmation from them, so I guess I'll call them in a little bit. I'm really freaking out about making sure everything is set for next week, I just want this vacation to go as smoothly as possible!!After much contemplating, I did decide to take my own stroller, will be easier to just have my own.

My daughter is 3, someone had asked that. thanks again.

Just an FYI in the future.... the reason no one responded at first was probably that they did not have the information. Try not to take it personally!!!

Used them for our Thanksgiving week trip - GREAT SERVICE!!!
Rented and electric cooler from them for $45 for entire stay. It was practiacally brand new, very clean. They rent strollers for the length of your stay. Saw one in our van, also looked very nice.

They stopped at our choice for groceries, and were great all around. See their web-site for details: http://www.transportation2disney.com

Call Marie @ MH and I'm sure you'll find her very helpful. Have a great trip!

I've used Tiffany 5 times now, but never with a child who needed a car seat. I did see a car seat in the trunk of the car on my last trip...never noticed it before. Only problem I've ever had was that the driver was not waiting at luggage pick up this last trip, but he showed up shortly after we got there. I think you'll be happy with their service.
