towncar grocery stop

I was looking at some of the towncar service websites. Do they really clock the 20 minutes you are in the grocery store? What if you take longer. I don't think I've ever been in and out of a grocery store in 20 minutes, especially if I am unfamiliar with the store.

I was worried about the time limit too but we used Quicksilver in Feb & they give a free 30 min stop. We had made a list beforehand so we knew exactly what to buy. We were in & out in about 20 mins....

We use Tiffany and they recently changed from 30 to 20 minutes but I haven't had any problem. I think they just want you to keep it reasonable. Even without knowing the store your only buying a few things to get through the trip so it shouldn't take long. I make a list and group the items the way they would be found in my supermarket here. Its generally close enough to make things quik for me. If you have more than one adult you can always split up for max efficiency.

Personally I always tip a bit more with the stop as the driver could have made another run, YMMV.

I have read some posts about people faxing their grocery orders ahead of time. When they arrive at the store they just have to load and pay. Has anyone had any experience with faxing the lists or remember what towncar service offers this option.

Not all town car companies have reduced the stop time to 20 minutes. FL Tours still offers a 30 minute stop.

That's a great idea. I'd also like to hear from anyone who's done this. Where would you get the fax number from?
