The rates from Maine to Orlando for my dates are astronomical, but I can save a bundle by flying into Tampa (and flying back out of Orlando - go figure!). Anyway, I wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to get a towncar from Tampa International Airport to Disney, and what the cost might be. Thanks!

Redmic, not surprising I did the same with 7 of us from Vermont during Easter vacation. Saved over $500.00. I have seen some posts regarding Towncar service but nothing that is less than the cost of a 24 hour rental. We rented a minivan from National for $104.00. The drive was about 1 hour and directions extremely easy. I am a planning and worry fanatic and I can tell you that this was a piece of cake. You drop the car off at WDW! Don't let the drive from TPA to WDW scare you, its a snap!

Hawk.

Remnic, I forgot to add, if you bring an infant also bring a car seat and check as luggage. A car seat for a rental will cost you $6.50 a day, probably no big deal if you only have the car one day.

Thanks, I think we will go with the car. Interestingly, it is cheaper to fly into Tampa and out of Orlando than to fly round trip into either city. I haven't run into that before, but it's hard to keep up with what the airlines are doing!
