Most towncar services use Lincoln Towncar sedans, which have immense, deep trunks. According to Hertz, a Lincoln Towncar trunk holds 3 large suitcases and 2 small suitcases. When we used a towncar service to go to the
Disney Cruise Terminal, we had 3 large suitcases, 1 medium suitcase, a garment bag, and several carry-on bags. The trunk closed properly. (Of course, it all depends how you define small, medium, and large.)
One time, when we used a towncar service, the car was a Cadillac DeVille. That car has a smaller, shallower trunk than a Lincoln Towncar. There were only two of us, with one bag each, so the trunk was not a problem.
You might want to let your towncar provider know that you want a Lincoln Towncar, not a Cadillac DeVille.
The size of a Lincoln Towncar trunk is usually only an issue when you book a limousine for a half dozen people. Although the passenger compartment is stretched, the trunk is not. It's the same size as a regular Lincoln Towncar trunk.
