Town car services

We are leaving in 6 weeks and need to make a reservation with one of the towncar agencies. Since I haven't heard good or bad about any of the usual companies lately. What has everyone's recent experience been?

Please limit the responses to your experiences in the last 6 months or so as I would like to get a current picture of how things are going for these companies. Also any information on their current rates would be appreciated. We have used several different Co's in the past and have had mixed results. Perhaps it is because we never request a specific driver. Does anybody ever ask for the same driver over again?

I used Tiffany for the first time in December, and was very pleased. I had different drivers each way, but both were on time and very professional. Price was $80 regularly, but I had a $5 online coupon so total was actually $75.

This was my first towncar experience, so I have no point of comparison. But I do plan to use Tiffany again next month.

We have used Happy Limo many times, 3 times in the last 6 months. They are great, on time, and even sent a limo one of our trips back to airport when we reserved a town car.
I highly recomend them!

We've traveled with <a href="http://www.fltours.com">FL Tours</a> for our last 6 trips (most recent was last week).

They are a site sponsor and have done a great job for us. The cars are recent, clean and comfortable. They're happy to make a grocery stop and will provide car seats when needed.

Renata was our driver for our last two trips and she is wonderful.

I've used both Tiffany and Happy. The last time I use Happy and was not happy. The Limos were not kept up and the A/C was broken both ways in two different limos.

I haven't tryed FL Tours but Tiffany was very nice and professional.

We used Tiffany in October for the 3rd time and were very pleased with the service. Our flight go in close to midnight, but our driver was right there waiting and as perky as though it were 10am.

We used Tiffany and was disappointed we requested numerous times a child safety seat (which they offer for you to use) and neither time did they provide a safety seat I had to hold onto my youngest and use the adult seat belt around both of us - very unsafe! Also, our driver was very late.
Our travel agent suggested Murray Hill Transportation Corp http://www.transportationtodisney.com/. She highly recommended them and she's never steered us wrong. We are headed to Disney in May, when we get back I'll post to let you guys know if this transportation company is worth it. They do provide quite alot of services.

I used Cartier Town car this past September and I was very happy with them. At the time they had the best rates for a town car.
The driver was on time, very helpful and friendly.

WE HAVE USED THEM 3 TIMES IN 2003. ALI, JOE AND KALIM ARE ALL EXCELLENT, WELL MANNERED, WELL SPOKEN GENTLEMEN. SARAH DOES A GREAT JOB WITH THE RESERVATIONS AND DOES NOT FORGET ANY DETAIL. WE CAN'T WAIT TILL OUR APRIL 2 TRIP WHEN WE WILL SEE THEM AGAIN!!!

We used Cartier this past October and had great service. Everything went great and we really liked having the grocery stop. We will be using them again on Monday.

We have always preferred to use FL Tours for our transportation. Andy is a wonderful guy who will see to it you are taken care of.

FL Tours is the official transportation company of the DIS and by using them we are supporting these boards. I know that I would be lost when it comes to my Disney planning without these boards.

I was just there over MLK weekend, and can't say enough good things about Cartier. We got in just before Midnight on Thursday, and Joe was waiting right there at baggage for us, and had us at the hotel right away. For pick up, we were cutting it pretty close, and he got stuck on I4 behind a very bad accident that had a lot of cars running late. He was on the phone with another company already at the hotel who could take us even before I had a chance to call to find out where he was; we got to the airport on time, and they worked the money out themsleves, since I had paid up front; nothing extra out of my pocket, which is usually the complaint when something like this happens.

We used Cartier in December and had a great experience with Kalim He was prompt for our pickup and early for the return trip! We'll be using Cartier again for our next trip.

We've used Tiffany many times over the past 5 years but had a less than satisfactory experience last Nov. The van driver did not have the child car seat as requested we had to wait to have one delivered as the mother of the child would not move without it. Then we told the driver we wanted to go to a certain Publix because we were ordering our T'giving dinner there he went to Kash 'n' Karry. He was not pleasee at all and he called the office who tried to tell us it would cost more to go to Publix. This was late pm on a Sunday so I did not recognize the person on the phone. We finally got to Publix got our shopping done, and dinner ordered. On previous OKW trips our driver has always picked us up at our unit this time when I called to confirm out pickup I was told to be at the Hosp. House, when I asked about being picked up at my unit I was told "we're not baggage handlers and to get your luggage to HH". So, we had 6 great trips with Tiffany but this last one really soured our faith in them. I'm trying some one else for our Feb trip.

We used Cartier for our trip in Oct, I aslo had them pick up my mother.. They were Great!!
Helped us with our luggage, Helped with groceries..

When my mom landed, (her first time using a town car, going to Disney, and flying to MCO) She couldnt find them, I called and Sara said that they were there and I described my mom, and the driver found her...
I would and plan on using them again..

Is there any car service that holds 12 people plus luggage. Like a van? Or will I have to rent a van and a towncar?

We used Cartier in October and didn't have very good luck. They were late to pick us up for our flight home (even after confirming the night before) and blamed it on us (he was there half an hour early and left when we didn't show up - at least that was their excuse. Of course, they had two cell phone numbers for us, so if he was waiting, they could have called). We then had the slowest driver, broken seat belts, missing child seats, a surly driver and topped it off with a dash to reach our plane with two preschoolers and two senior citizens.
