Town car service from LAX to Disneyland

DK Livery seems to be the method of choice here. For those that have taken it to the hotel and back, is the pick-up for the return trip equally as smooth?

Yes, our hotel pickup was great. No problem. Our driver got us to the airport in plenty of time to check in and get through security.

Personally I will use Lansky's every time.

For those that use Lansky/DKLivery (that looks to be what we will use, given the recommendations and reviews), what time should you set your pick up for?

What I mean is, if our plane hypothetically lands at 12:00 noon, should I tell Lanskey my pickup is 12:30, 1:00, some other time? I'm just completely unfamiliar w/ LAX and making sure we get the time right.

Likewise, if you were leaving from DL Hotel, how many hours before your flight would you recommend when setting a pick-up/return time?

Thanks so much,

At LAX, we used to add about 15 minutes from our predicted arrival time to navigate the airport. I don't see the point in scheduling it for later, as that just leaves you waiting around. If you give them your flight number, they'll be able to check if your flight is delayed, and it's not like they'll leave without you if you're a few minutes behind. That's one of the joys of using a car service.

From DLR, we used to request a pick-up two hours from our departure time. If you'll be traveling during rush hour, I might give it another 30 minutes to be safe.

Thanks, I was wondering what I would need to do if my flight got delayed say on the runway leaving, or we had to circle, etc...and lost time. But giving them the flight info would make perfect sense. 15 minutes sounds good.

I just gave Lansky our flight infiormation and they told us the times. Worked out well.

We gave them our flight arrival time and number. They will check the actual times and be there at the appropriate time. For departure, we planned two hours (8:00 am flight) and it took about 45 minutes to get to the airport. I agree to add another 30 minutes if you are traveling at a busier time and/or have an international flight.

We also gave our flight info. Coming in worked out great. Since he had our arrival time and our flight, he could plan to be there accordingly. However, when we discussed our pick up time from DL back to LAX, he gave us a time that I thought may be cutting it close. We were leaving early morning on a Monday and I thought traffic may be an issue. Also, LAX can be crowded at times. I don't like to chance missing a flight and you never know. I wanted to be there at least an hour and a half before the flight and although he said it would only take 45 min to airport, I was skeptical. I asked him to pick us up a half hour before he wanted to. He didn't think it was necessary, but agreed. I am glad I did. It definitely took more than 45 minutes for us. We would have been later than I would have been comfortable with and if we would have had to wait too much longer for security, we may have had a problem. So go with your instinct and if they give you a time during rush hour that seems like it may be to short, ask for a little earlier. They are a good service and I would use them again.
