I have been many times with my family. I know that the statement says that persons on your reservation can come up with you providing your with them. I have 2 studios booked in March on my points. Can I bring up all 8 of us? The other family is booked on our points and under my reservations are linked, but its a different family. I dont want to try a hit or miss on who the cast member is, We like to follow what the rules are. TIA

I do not know what the official rules are, but I always have brought my family and friends up with me. My friends, family stay on my membership, but DH prefers privacy, so often I have 2 or more studios,

The official rules state:

This perk is available exclusively to Members and those in their traveling party who are staying on that Member's reservation.

As you made the reservations you should be fine. It is likely up to some interpretation but my experience was that they just checked my member card quickly, asked how many, and led us to the elevator. However, it was a half hour after the fireworks and the place was virtually empty so YMMV depending on the time of evening.

We have brought family along that were staying on our points in a different villa to TOTWL. And CM said it was okay. But the official rule limits it to your own villa as stated above.

Member's reservation...I think all the ones I make are my reservations.

Are not members allowed up as long as they are staying on property? Even for cash, at All Stars for instance. I think that sort of reservation may cause "guests" to be scrutinized more closely.

If you book two separate villas, that is two reservations. Unless you are in both villas, only the guests staying in the villa with you are technically eligible to join you at the TOTWL.
