Towing with Fast Pass/EZ Pass

Hi, just posted on the camping board; thought I'd give it a shot here too. We are towing our pop-up from MA to FW this week and I called the Fast Lane to tell them that I would have 3 axles instead of 2 going through the tolls. They told me to come in and have my transponder reprogrammed. Last summer I towed to FW and never mentioned it to Fast Lane and didn't have a problem through any of the tolls down or back. Should I bother this year? Anyone deal with this before? Thanks!!
