We are leaving in a couple of weeks and I was wondering which tower you all think is best at RPR, or if there is even much of a difference. I'm going to request our room soon, but didn't know whether to request it in Tower 1 or 3. Last year was the first year I requested a room, and we were in Tower 3, but I thought there may be something nicer about Tower 1.

Also, is it better to call the reservation desk directly, or fax them our request? If faxing is better, does anyone have that number?

Thanks!!!

It depends on what you want. We always walk to the parks from the RPR so we like Tower One. If you go out the door at the end of the hall it brings you right out on the walking path.

I was thinking Tower 1 also because we do like to walk sometimes, especially if there is a long line for the boat.

Thanks!!

Tower 1 is closest if you're walking...and to get the best view of IOA. Tower 2 is for pets....

Okay....just read through the whole sticky on RPR rooms. I don't know why I didn't read it before posting!:confused3

One other question I had though....if your room is far from the elevator, does that mean it's far from the ice machine also?

Now that's thinking ahead!!!:rolleyes1

Well, we do love our ice water. Not to mention all of the things we'll be trying to keep cold in our cooler.;)

This is only our third stay, and I can't remember where the ice machines are even located....

the ice machine is not near the elevator....i believe the ice machine was in the "intersection" of the "Y" (we were only down the hall and we were the 2nd or 3rd room from the very end!

You are exactly right. The ice machine is centrally located to the insection of the wings. No room is very far from the ice machine.
