Tower of Terror Pictures?

The pictures that they take on ToT are they taken while you are dropping or while you are sitting still? How much are they? I just want to be prepared Thanks

If I remember correctly... it is right at the moment of the biggest drop. Although I have tried many times to be "ready" for that photographic moment, the ride intimidates me to the point that I always forget about the photo being taken! When I view the pic, I don't even look like myself.!

I believe the picture is taken during the second drop, when you are up near the open doors. My brother, fiance, mother, and I almost always make faces, or do something silly. We made the YMCA thing one time. We have pretended to be sleeping too. We want to use props, but we're pretty sure that is not allowed.

When we were just there in January, they were selling the pics in packages. I believe one 5x7 plus a few wallets was 16.95. I asked if one could just buy a 5x7 and they said no. In March '03, we bought 5x7s in fact you could buy 2 of them for a reduced price.

Several years ago, well, maybe 5, the ToT photo actually showed your hair standing straight up!!! Not anymore tho. We have several photos and none of them show this. My hair is hanging right down. Anyone know why the change??
