Just found a bunch of glowsticks that I bought for the race. Put them on the dining room table so I don't forget them!!! Need to download all the pictures on my camera so I can free up the card!

Scout Robert- let us know about the temps from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Our weather is probably similar to Disney (we're just across the border in GA), but I'm never out and about at 1 a.m.!!!! I'm thinking if you stick around to see Wishes, you will be out late... So jealous you are there-- have fun!

Since this appears to be a confession thread, here is mine. Hi my name is Mike and I am Goofy: oops, what I really wanted to say was that I am lame. I have been absent from the boards for months and months. In fact I really have been absent from any web surfing for months and months - it is a very long and trying story on how difficult and intrusive life can be with the things we love to do. But I digress. No use looking back at the past when there is a race to be run in exactly one week. With all the stuff going on I have kept to my running (hey, we all have to do something to keep sane and running is my thing) and feel like I am actually ready for the ToT 13K. Did a run this morning on a hilly course and covered the 8 miles in 1:03 on the nose. I do think I will hit my sub one hour for this race if I don’t go nuts in the parks during the day that is.

Sorry so long but it is my first post in months and I truly am GOOFY.

Still jealous of all you ToTers!! You are all going to have a wonderful time. I can't wait to read the race reports, WISH-meet reports, and see all the photos! Have a great week of tapering for the race; and for heaven's sake, put the running shoes in the carry-on!

Dave, I used to love fried SPAM sandwiches. Mmmmm. I was also forced to take salt tablets before Little League games. hated those.

Yeah We Made It, At OKW, long day yesterday, Travel, grocery shopping, then met up with Linda , Kay, Ashley and Karen m and their son Gary.
Grocery shopping is draining, don’t know why but it is. Then we are on the 3ed floor room, so it took a few trips to get all the stuff upstairs.. Good work out for sure

It seem like trips to WDW and DL are becoming family reunions , this is KEWL!!!!

Will activate out AP’s this morning at MK. Going to MK first is a tradition.

We'll be the crazy women with the Pal Mickeys and I will be wearing my WISH Bracelet and for that matter all our Pals have one too but I can say for sure that mine will be wearing his. Not too many Mice running around WDW with WISH bracelets on LOL Hope to see you around the resort and in the Parks.

How bad is the humidity? I'm really scared of that. Haven't been in humidity since August 2006. I'm figuring it's high because of the frequent thunderstorms predicted...we're packing ponchos...need to get a stroller poncho... Did I mention humidity is scary?

It is pretty humid. I am from 0% humidity climate at Tahoe so tough. It will be cooler at night so won't be that bad. Sun has been blocked by clouds but when it pops out, it gets tough.

Only because I am leery of using Judy's race advice for "complimenting" women ToT race participants (see the Help Bill In His First Race thread), do you think it is safe to walk up to a women at WDW and say "Hi. Can I look at your bracelet to see if I've "met" you on DIS boards?" I don't want to get thrown out of the parks and possibly need bail money. Plus, although I've yet to see the original Bill's (wfloyd) explanation, it looks like he may be looking to tap the ToT bail fund before the event even starts. Do you at least have the WISH bracelet with black lettering to make it possible to just hang over your shoulder and non-chalently see if it is in fact a WISH bracelet without possibly being viewed as a stalker?

Weather is HUmid, stopped by the room for lunch and local weather said . it looks like things are going to Cool Down for the weekend.

Lynn and I are pretty easy tp spot, Lynn usually wears a visor and her fanny pack is covered with littel stuffed key chains.

I usually wear bright shirts with either a boating or dive theme, like sailfish, sharks, sail boats, Also my right leg has several fish tatoos adn a sucba Micky with a turtle and manta ray.

Off to EPCOT, tomorrow morn will be AK.
