Tower of Terror: (Better at night or during day?)

I've been on Tower of Terror both during the day and at night. I think I might like the night time experience better because of the haunted hotel feel you get. What do others think?

As far as waiting outside the nighttime makes the ride feel a bit more scary.

However, I think they did great job with the que area. Even outside, once you enter the gates it's all tower. The trees force you to look up at that awesome site staring back down at you.......

I voted with Either. Although when you drop and the elevator doors open, it's more thrilling/scary at night, I think the haunted hotel feel of it is menacing daylight or not. I love Tower of Terror!

I voted for night because you're not blinded when the doors open and you can see more of the goodies inside. And it's a lot of fun to see DHS at night.

Nighttime for sure!

Not only do you get a beautiful view when the doors open but it is a little more spooky to wait in line and experience the ride at night!

Great info! We have been on TOT many times but never at night. I am surprised it makes much difference, but will give it a shot.

TOT is awesom anytime,but I must say night time adds a little more of the spook factor.

I love it at night, but I love how in the day you can see all around not just MGM, but Disney.

I vote for either I love the night ones , but being able to see farther in the day is cool too.

I voted for the "nighttime" choice because of the following reasons:
1) I think it adds to the spookiness of the ride
2) I think it's really cool to ride it at nighttime (you get to see the park all lit up)
3) Your not blinded by the beautiful sun like alot of other people said

Please, please don't get me wrong, I love to ride the Tower of Terror during the day, but riding it at nighttime has always been a dream of mine.

I think the nighttime is definitley the best. Honestly either time you can get on is great, but there is just that extra dimension of Terror when you go on at night. It is great to walk up the path way to the hotel when it is dark out, extra creepy. When you drop through the tower the nighttime effects are brilliant. Much better than a bright sunny day.
