Tower of Terror At Rope Drop (Recently)?

Wondering if anyone who has ridden Tower of Terror at RD recently (since the construction started/with only one side open) could comment on the wait time? I was unable to get a morning FP and would prefer to ride it first thing and then use my 9-10AM RnR FP afterwards.

I currently have a 1:35 for ToT but was thinking of swapping that for Star Tours if it's a walk-on at rope drop.

It should be nearly walk on at RD. The great majority of people at RD at HS are all headed to TSL and most to SDD. Going anywhere else has very short lines for the first 30 minutes at least. Last fall, we did SDD at RD. At 9:15 RnRC had a 10 minute standby line. We waited 10 minutes at ToT at 9:30.

No one will be there. Everyone is going to Slinky Dog. I’ve done SDD RD and it reminds me of my experience on Black Friday at Wal-Mart trying to get a TV for $200.

RD ToT will stilll be walk on, and you’ll easily use your RnRC after.

The issue people have is if they want to RD both RnRC and then ToT. Unless you are in the first few cars of RnRC, you’ll find the ToT line has started to build already.

Which one is better to do 1st? We will not have FPF...we do have After Hours at HS on the 31st of May. We will rope drop HS..plan to do ToT 1st...but wondering if it matters?

I don't think it matters. Did TOT first then RNRC this time but we've done the reverse with same good results.

Yeah you can do both RnR and Tower of Terror at rope drop with no problem. And Star Tours almost always had a pretty low wait too. We actually never get a fast pass for that one and ride it multiple times. DH even more because he doesn’t ride RnR or ToT. He’ll go do Star Tours a few times while we are doing those two.

We usually do RnR first because that wait always seems to get higher quicker. But we go right to RnR at rope drop and then right over to ToT and it’s usuallg like 15-20 min at that point. The other thing too is that RnR has the single rider line and we’ve even come off ToT and get back in line at RnR and do single rider that time.

In feb there was basically no one by RNR and TOT, they were walk on‘s for both for us.
