Tower of Terror 2014 - possible date change?

I was thinking of possibly running ToT next year, but someone noted on Facebook today that the race takes place on Yom Kippur. (Actually about two hours after it ends, but still.)

Does anyone think there's a possibility rD will reschedule the race? It's a little tacky, IMHO, to exclude Jewish runners/volunteers/Cast Members who will have fasted for 24 hours immediately prior to this race.

yikes! I hope they don't change the date!
I'm already committed to Oct 2 -16 for my vacation!
If they change it, I hope it still falls in that time frame!
(This happened back in 2012 to me on my first attempt to register for the Wine & Dine! had vacation time committed, and then they switched it to November. But, they put the TOT 10miler, so I was a happy camper).

New York Road Runners doesn't rearrange their races - Staten Island Half was the morning after Yom Kippur ended a couple of years ago. I would venture a guess that the percentage of Jewish runners, etc. here far exceeds that of runDisney events.

I think the date is firm.... But as we have seen for this time slot, anything is possible prior to the date entries open. For those who are new, this weekend was one week off from the original Wine and Dine weekend.
