Hey DISers, I'm wondering if anyone out there is running the 13k on October 24 and could help some fellow runners out.
My husband and I are going on vacation with my parents, and my parents just decided today that they would really like to leave for vacation on Saturday instead of Sunday (they were really anti before). To my delight, I realized that this means we will now be able to run the TOT 13k in its last year! I ran it last year and had a blast; DH wanted to after it was all over and saw how much fun it was.
However... I noticed that packet pick-up ends before we get in late Saturday afternoon and NO packet pickups are allowed at DHS that night. This is where I am hoping with crossed fingers that a wonderful DISer would take pity on us and pick up our packets for us! I realize that this is a big thing to ask of a stranger, but you would forever have our gratitude. We pay beforehand so this wouldn't involve exchange of money or anything (which you already know if you're running it anyway).
If anyone is willing, send me a PM and we can work out the details. And I will extol your virtues across the DISboards
