I was just wondering when you go to a water park do you take towels from your room or do they have towels there?

This is what I found from another site.

Bring your own towels! Renting is $1/towel. NO refund

We always bring our own beach towels from home. They are bigger and less of a hassle to deal with.

Thanks That $1 can really add up. Kids often like to have there own towel any way. Just thought it might be one less thing to bring.

We always bring some of our older, more threadbare towels. They don't take up as much room in the suitcase and if they should get taken (they never have) it wouldn't be a big deal. We like having our own as well because they are bigger and it makes spotting our chair a lot easier.

We rented towels and it was fine. DD and I hardly used it but it was one less thing to keep track of. Just stuffed it in the locker and used it at the end of the day to dry off.

We were with you. Packing for four adult size people for 9 days takes up enough space. We rented towels and a locker. Got there (both BB and TL) at opening, and it was not hassle to rent them. In the water in no time.

If you have the room and can pack a beach towl for each person, go ahead with it. If you have packing issues to begin with, as we did, the rental option was no problem at all.

Since we stay on Disney property we just stop by the pool at the resort on the way to the bus and take what we need (usually 1 per person). We then return them at whichever Disney water park we go to. This way there is less to carry back to the room and if we decide to stop and see Illumninations on the way back we are not carrying wet towels with us. BTW the towels from the resort pools look exactly like the ones you rent. I agreee with towels taking up too much room in the luggage especailly if your flying.

Space is not an issue since we are driving down. I think we will bring our own. Thanks for the feed back.

How big are the lockers at the water parks and how much to rent one?

A small one will fit a normal backpack, 4 towels and 4 shirts. If you have much more than that, you 'll need to get the bigger size.
