Towels for Water Parks

We're staying at POR and one of our days will be spent at Blizzard Beach - what do we do about beach towels on the day we go to BB? Can we use the ones from the resort? I don't want to have to pack beach towels on the plane.

I'm not sure about bringing the towels to the water parks, but there is towel rental there at the locker rental location.

Yes. That is the preferred procedure for on-site guests.

As PPs have mentioned, you can rent the larger beach towels if you prefer those or just take your room towels. You can ask housekeeping for additional room towels so no big deal there. But, those would be just room towels, not bigger beach towels to lay on at the water park.

I believe the beach towel rental fee is $2.00, FYI.

Rental towels at Typhoon Lagoon are more like bath size towels. I assume they're the same at Blizzard. Definitely not as big as beach towels.

Yep. They're pretty much the same towels you can get from the resort pool. We paid to rent them the first year. Now we just take them with us from the resort.

We bring them from the resort. I always bring two more than people since they are a little smaller.

We bought a beach towel at the water park last year and the kids shared it. It is great quality and one of our favorite (and most used!) souvenirs from the trip.
