When you arrive at a timeshare resort (like Cypress Pointe), the condo will have been fully cleaned and made ready for you. The beds are made with fresh linens (extra sheets, pillows & blanket for the sofabeds are normally on a closet shelf). The baths contain enough sets of towels to match the maximum occupancy of the condo. The kitchen includes all the dishes, cookware, cutlery, towels, etc., that you'd need (call housekeeping or maint services for anything you don't see but need - they have extra items). There is usually a utility closet with a vacuum, broom, iron & board. Most have a washer/dryer in that closet as well. An extra set of pool towels (# = occupancy) is provided at some resorts in each room. Most Orlando resorts have them available for free check-out to guests at their recreation desk or clubhouse near their pools.
When you are getting ready to depart, a few resorts ask you to strip the beds and leave the sheets & towels heaped near the front door or on the bathroom floors. Some ask you to leave the dishwasher running with any dirty dishes, etc., on your way out. Some ask you to bag your trash. For the few resorts that ask any of these items, we've found that they only take a couple of minutes and speed the efficiency of housekeeping between guests, enabling everyone to check-in on time. However,
most of the nicest timeshare resorts don't ask you to do any of this at all! So usually, you can just pack your things and leave.
Many resorts have Express Check-out, where you leave your room keys on the kitchen counter and go. Some ask you to stop by the front desk to check-out. But over the years, only one of those has taken more than a minute or two to hand over our room keys (Westgate Vacation Villas, years ago).
Whatever their check-out policy is, they will tell you at the front desk when you arrive and/or post a notice card on the kitchen counter. Timeshare condos are fully cleaned by housekeeping services at the resort between guests or once per week, whichever comes first. This is part of the basic maintenance of the resort. HTH - Enjoy!
