Towels at Cypress Point???

Hello there everyone

Calling upon your expert knowledge! I am considering staying at Cypress Pointe (haven't decided on the Grand Villas or not) at the end of March.

Since maid service is not included in the room unless you pay extra, how many towels are you given at the beginning of your stay? I don't mind having to make my bed every day, but I just want to make sure that between the pools, showers etc. We'll have enough to make it through. We're staying for 3 nights.

Hi there...glad you're visiting Cypress Pointe. We were there January at the Grand Villas for one week. You're right they don't provide towels at the pool. However our family of 4 knew that and did not pack our own towels. We took our towels from our room down to the pool and then washed/dried them in the washer/dryer that's in the suite when we came up from the pool. As far as how many towels there were- I'm not sure exactly-but there were plenty. Both bathrooms I guess had 3 or 4 ? large sized towels each. Then there were decorative towels all over (it seemed) and they were big towels too!. I would say just take your room towels down to the pool and then bring them back up when you're done swimming.

Yes, there were plenty when we were there as well - probably enough to carry my family of 4 through the week, although we did laundry so we washed towels. We did bring our room towels down to the pool.

Does anybody know if you can take the towels to the water parks?

I've also been considering staying here. Do they have transportation to the parks? If so, how frequent is it? Is there a charge? What hours does it run? What are the room types and what are they like? There will only be 2 of us adults, but we may take my mom and 2 adult sisters, Grandma and Aunt if we can get a good deal on a 2 or 3 bedroom villa.

We are staying at CP Grand Villas right now. We were also under the impression there were not pool towels so we have been bringing down the 4 extras left in the master bedroom linen closet...but today we found a rack w/pool towels down near the turtle pool (outside the bathroom area).

To answer the other question, I'm not aware of any transportation to the parks.
