Towel Question @ OKW??????

Does anyone know if there are pool towels available at the pools @ OKW or should we bring our own beach towels? It's our first trip "home" and need your guidance. Thanks neighbors!!!

I believe there are towels at the pool.

All the pools have pool towels available, and there is a towel return bin at each pool as well.

We use the pool towels at the pool, but we bring beach towels for the water paris. It's nice to wrap up in the towel on the way back to the villa.

just another note about towels at OKW...when we were there in March, you had to present your room key to get towels at the main pool but at the quiet pools there is a self service cabana type place where they store the pool towels. As far as buildings to request, most people have better luck with requesting certain areas rather than specific buildings (i.e. waterview, golf course view, top floor, SouthPoint area, Turtle Pond area, etc)Personally, I like SouthPoint because it is quiet and is so close to the walkway to SSR and Downtown Disney...others like to be close to HH.

just a note - last time we were at okw, the pool towels were like a room towel - no beach towels available at pools - if ya like the big, soft, fluffy and absorbant beach towel - better bring your own.

I believe the pool towels are different from room towels at all the DVC resorts. They are regular sized towels, but have a different weave to them than the room towels.

Like any other DVC I've stayed in. There are plenty of towels at all the pools

It was the same scenario two weeks ago- also noticed the prominent signs about not saving lounge chairs with towels. This was only the second time we have used the main pool so I wasn't prepared and had to go get the room key from DH who had gone in search of chairs.

The towels were at Hank's Rent and return window also not out next to the pool. You didn't have to take them back there though so it was a little strange- maybe witht he new slide this is how they hope to discourage unauthorized people from using the pool.

Wow, I've never had to show a key to get a towel. The only thing close was having to use my key to get into SAB at BCV
