I think I need to get DW in practise for the next time we go.

This is one of those little touches we miss out on by staying in a villa, that seem to make the on-site holidays a bit more magical.

We only had one at ASMu - on our last day - despite tipping - and despite other rooms served by the same maid having them lined up in their windows.

I thought about it as it was quite small (just a face flannel and stickers) but I decided that would be stealing.

Now I could be wrong and am quite used to it,....but I am sure I read a thread where someone asked at guest services and was told it was there's to keep if they wanted it.

I wouldn't want to steal one but it would be cool to have in your bathroom!!!

We got 2 at POFQ, one was there upon arrival and we got the second one on the first or second night.
Also, i've seen posts here where people have actually asked CMs about whether or not you should take them and apparently they're considered gifts so feel free to bring em home

Well there's something I've learnt today.

We've received a fair few over the years, but have noticed that on our more recent trips they have been getting less common.

In the past, both resort management and the mousekeepers themselves have confirmed that the towel animals are gifts and can be taken home

Here are some of the surprises we have received:

We got about 6 at POR and didn't tip anything. We didn't get any last year however mouse keeping did do cute displays with dd toys.
