Towel Animals

We just got back from staying at CBR..........we got towel animals almost every day! We'd come back mid afternoon for DD's nap and the front window of our room would be like a 'display' of the towel animals. They even incorporated DD's stuffed animals in the room, it was so cute!!

ANyway......are you allowed to take them?
We didn't, DH said no, but I am curious what others do.

I have two I brought home. I left the last one I got at BCV because I couldn't figure out what it was.

Last July was the first time we ever received them (at GF). We were told by mousekeeping to please take them home - so we did.

We got two last week at CR -- both were toothbrush holders. One was definitely a duck, and we think the first was supposed to be a duck, too (but it looked like it had some "genetic" mutation ). We left them both (we didn't have any room to pack them ).

our toothbrush holder was a peacock.....could it have been that?

Hmmm... that might explain it. I wish now I'd taken a picture of it. It was one interesting creation and gave us lots of fun guessing "what's the animal!"

We've asked at several resorts. Always been told they are gifts from housekeeping and guests should feel free to take them home.
