What tours have you done that you would recommend?
I'm doing a solo Sept. 30-Oct. 3 and was thinking about the Segway and possibly the Steam Train. Has anyone does these or any other ones that you would recommend? Thanks for your help.

Segway -

Being that you are solo - you will still enjoy this! DH and I had a blast!

KTTK -

Lots of basic info - but always fun to go "behind the scenes"

Backstage Safari at AK -

If you are an animal lover - you'll enjoy this! Paul was our tour guide (nearly 2 years ago) and we really learned alot about AK!

I think that's all we've done - well, I'd also give 2

to the AKL's safari's (Sunrise and Sunset) offered to Concierge guests - we've done both twice.

agree w/stinkerbelle on the behind the scenes tours suggested. we have enjoyed all mentioned. the steam engine tour is very nice. even if you are not a "train person" it is enjoyable. we are not train people,but had a great experience.

We haven't done Segway yet,but we go in April and that is one of the highlites of our trip. My mom and I will be taking the tour. It sounds incredible,and just about EVERY post I'v read from folks who'v done it, LOVED it!! I hope you get the chance to go!
