HI,,can anyone tell me if there is a tour that takes you into the UNDERGROUND!!!! I had also heard somewhere that you can take a tour and you go into the haunted mansion while the ride is in progress,, and in the BALL room they ask you to stay away from the mirrors. because the rider can see you..where could I find out info,,such as cost, times, etc,,

If you go to the Disney home page and type in the search field
backstage magic tour, it will take you to a page that says Guest Services on the left hand side.
Just click on number 3 titled Convention Tours, it will list tours that you can take, what they are about and how much they cost.

We did and highly recommed the Backstage Magic tour. It is seven hours long, covers the MK, MGM, & Epoct, includes lunch, but is $199.00 per person.

We were just there in July and did the tour in the MK, Keys to the Kingdom, and yes you get to go in the backdoor of the Haunted Mansion, but not onto the floor of it. We also got to ride the POC. You get to go underground, but not that much of it. the other tour Backstage Magic you also go underground and get to see alot more of it than the one that comes from the MK>.

Check Deb's tour section here, and reviews. As said, both the Keys and Backstage Magic tours go 'underground'. I have taken both of those and both are great.

DH and I will be doing the Backstage Magic Tour on our next trip.
At first glance, the price is a bit steep at close to $200 per person!
But this tour, unlike most others, does NOT require separate park admission, it's 7 hours in duration, and lunch is included. For WDW, it's as close to a bargain as you will find for such a splendid tour.

After the 7 hour tour is over, will you need a seperate admission ticket to go back to one of the parks like Epcot for instance? Or can you use the tour ticket?

You need a regular admission.

Also, regarding the price on this and the other tours. many discounts are available, listed in the link above.
