In WDW there are various tours in the park. There are four tires, history tours, and VIP tours.

Are there a variety of tours available in the Disneyland complex (either park)?

Many thanks...

If you're acquainted with the tours at Disney World you may be disappointed by Disneyland's offerings. I've been on both the Walk in Walt's Footsteps and the Grand Circle Tour, and while they were both fine I wasn't really impressed by either. They each feature one unique experience that isn't generally available to the public, but beyond that the vast majority of the time is spent in public areas. If you're a Disney history buff, you're probably not going to hear anything new. In contrast, the Backstage Magic tour at Walt Disney World was one of the coolest things I've ever done.

If you're interested I'd recommend starting with the afternoon version of Walk in Walt's Footsteps. You won't lose the prime morning hours and can enjoy the benefits of the tour as the park gets more crowded.

I've heard that the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour is pretty great.

It is! I did it last February and it was so awesome for me as I love Walt.

Disclaimer: If you know a lot about Walt, you won't learn much, but you get to go to the front of the line on a few Walt original attractions and see his apartment over the fire station (worth every penny).
