Tours to KSC from hotel

i'm going to Orlando in Aug with my son. He's really keen to go to KSC but i really don't want to drive. Has anyone done a tour from there hotel to KSC? if so who did you go with and would you reccomend it?
i have heard of lunch package and wondered if this was worth the extra $.

Went on a Virgin tour to KSC a few years ago as I too couldnt be bothered to drive.

Was fine - nice coach, showed a film on the way back etc.
Bit too long there for me though.

We did this a few years ago with Mears. They picked us up at about 8:15 am from our resort (POR) in a minibus, then we transferred to a larger coach at Downtown Disney. We had a full day in KSC, leaving at 5:30 pm. The trip took about an hour to an hour and a half, I think.

I think it cost around £15 pp (excludes admission) in 2001, and I thought it was well worth it for the convenience as there were only two of us travelling and we didn't want to drive.
