Tours of Wilderness Lodge (WL)

I've read that from Wed to Sun there are free tours of the resort at 9 am - is it for guests of WL only? Thanks.

I've not done the tour, but, I've heard that anyone can sign up for the tour. It's a great way to get to see the resort & decide if you'd like to stay there next time.

You can always inquire at your hotel's Guest Services/Concierge (if you're On Site), or call over to the Wilderness Lodge at 407-824-3200 to ask them, if you want to make sure.

Anyone can go on the tour. When we last did this, there was not a sign in sheet. We just met toward the end of check in desk near a sign(away from the front doors. I would call WL and check on the days and times of the tour. We try to go when Ranger Stan is conducting the tour. He's fantastic.

When I was there in 2005 (I miss the Lodge!) the tours were just on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We had Ranger Stan too...he's the best!!
