Tours Leaving from DL Area

Hi!
I hope this is the right forum....I picked it because my question starts with DL!

We are staying at the HOJO the first week of August. We would like to take a tour of Hollywood. Perhaps one of the tours of the stars homes, etc. I realize that you don't see many of the actual homes because they are set back from the road and/or behind high fences and trees. However, it might be a nice relaxing way for my husband, the usual driver on our holidays, to sit back and see some sights without battling the traffic.

My question is if there are any of these types of tours that leave from the Disneyland Resort area? While we will have our car, we would like to have a day where we leave it parked and let someone else do the driving.

As well, it would be nice to take one that has a few stops with enough time to look around. For example, the Farmers Market.

Any suggestions?

Yes, and in a few of the hotels along harbor they pick up and you can reserve tours. Try looking at www.GrayLine.com in thier tours section. Also you might want to look at www.citypasscom , it has a good Hollywood deal with a fairly comprehensive offering. If you don't like Grayline. You can take a cab to the Metro station, Metro up to LA and then the subway to Hollywood.

I though of another one. I think it's called Starline tours, they are part of the Citypass Hollywood option but I think they also do a tour the picks up and drops off in Anaheim.
