We are planning to do the 'Behind the Seeds' tour (at The Land in Epcot) this time around. It is currently listed as 'stopped temporarily', and we are assuming they will probably ressume this tour after renovations are completed and the Land pavillion re-opens (our visit is not until October). It only cost $6 per adult and $4 per child previously, and you sign up for the tours each morning when you enter the park. Basically, it is a walking tour through the greenhouses & propogation areas of 'Living with the Land'. If your family is interested in gardening, &/or the fish and gators, you may want to consider this tour as a possibility.

I've never done the 'Disney Family Magic' tour at MK, but have heard mixed reviews. If you run a search of the forums, typing in 'scavenger hunt', you should be able to find a number of reports of what people thought.

DD (age 7) and I just did the 'Family Magic Tour' this past December. Yes, this is set up like a 'scavenger hunt'. We had a GREAT time! I think whether or not you like it depends upon the age of the kids and if as adults, you mind being a little silly.

The tour lasts just 2 hours so it was perfect for my 7 year old and the younger 4 year old that was on the tour with us. We lucked out as we were only one of two families on the tour (Monday in mid-December). I have heard that capacity for the tour might be 25 people.

You are met by a CM who immediately involves the kids on a 'quest' to find Captain Hook's hook that has been stolen. We followed clues all through the MK and ended up with a 'surprise' at the end.

Again, if you don't mind being a little silly, and you have elementary school or slightly younger age kids- it is a good time.

Happy Planning!!
