Is it possible to get a tour of the rooms at BWV, OKW, and WLV even though Disney isn't selling those directly anymore? I have never stayed at any of the properties that have villas and am curious about them. Or do you think it would it be better to spend a couple nights with rented points to get a sense of the properties we are interested in?
We haven't been through the DVC presentation yet, just have the video and book.
We are thinking about buying resale and can't decide which property we like best - they all sound great!
Thanks in advance.

Speaking for OKW only, they gave us a tour in June when we told them we were new DVC members "checking out" the properties. Wish we'd done what you're thinking of doing-DH says now that if we had, we wouldn't have bought at VWL, we would have looked for an OKW resale! Once we saw that 2 BR there, DH said "THIS is where I want to be!"

If you go to the DVC sales office at BW they have models of the 1 BR units to view but to get a better feeling we went to OKW front desk and asked to see a 1 BR unit and they took us to bldg. 62. The CM that escorted us was very good and answered all our questions while in the unit and also some info we never thought about. I would think all the other resorts would do the same. We did have to leave and come back a while later as they said there was not a CLEANED (would not show until cleaned) unit available to show when we first went to the desk. Definately better to see real unit than model, glad we took the time.

When we bought our VWL points, we drove over to the VWL and asked to look around. A CM showed us the VWL lobby area and took us into a 2 bedroom and pointed out features. Then we went to the DVC desk in the WL lobby and made an appointment to talk over at the DVC offices at BWV.

Just ask since they always have re sales. BWV did have a place on the boardwalk so you could see the units. since Disney is not pushy makes this easier for you to just visit . Enjoy your tour we saw the OKW and BWV's both have something nice about each one.

WLV no longer has rooms that you can tour.
But if you go over to the Boardwalk Sales Center, they have a room that is set up exactly like WL. Just ask at the desk and a DVC Sales Rep will escort you.

Hi, We bought at the BCV last spring. A few days before, we visited OKW and said we were interested buying into DVC or perhaps renting points. They gave us a tour of a studio & one bedroom, a map and newsletter, and explained the key points of their resort. They could not have been nicer. Sandie
