Doing DL with DH and DS (age 8) in November.
Anyone ever been on the Discover the Magic or Welcome to Disneyland Tours?
We've done a few tours at WDW and really enjoyed them.
Discover the Magic looks like the Family Magic at WDW.
Too young for 8-year old boy?
Welcome to Disneyland looks cool, but I can't find a minimum Age Limit, I know most of the WDW tours are 16 and older.
Thanks!

Our group of 5 just did Discover the Magic Tour last Saturday May 6th and it was terrific ! ! ! !

We had 4 adults and 1 princess 5 1/2 yrs old. She wore her Cinderella dress and was thrilled to walk hand in hand down Main St USA with the Mad Hatter and Alice. The tour can accomadate 20 and the other 15 was a fun group of Girl Scouts with 5 leaders.

This was a fast paced fun adventure thru Disneyland. We even had lunch during the tour.

If you use a Disney Visa Card or tell them at the time of booking the tour that you have an annual pass you save $10 off of each ticket for the tour. When I booked with my Disney Visa Card, the first 2 tickets were $39 and the other 3 $29 each.

Our tour guides were Reno and Betsy and they were great ! ! !

I would highly reccomend this tour. We got to inter-act with several characters and even had a private time with Mickey ! ! !

Bring your camera and autograph book. Not all characters have time for autographs (except Mickey) but you do get to take group photos with the characters and they'll take pictures with your camera with Mickey.

It was great ! ! ! !

I was interested in the Walking in Walts footsteps tour, does anyone have info on that?

I heard about this from the CM at Haunted Mansion at WDW last week. He said that it was really neat and that at the end you got to eat some of Walt's favorite foods. I would also be interested in more info about this tour also. It sounded really, really neat.

I have read what they say on the official website but I really wanted a personal view on it! Maybe someone will come along soon!
