Tours around LA & Hollywood

My daughter wants to see the Hollywood walk of fame. I was thinking a tour would be nice, like the hop-on-hop-off buses and trollys we have in Chicago. Has anyone done a nice one?

We are also renting a car, where is a good place to park?

If you park at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center, you can see the Walk of Fame right out front, the Chinese Theater next door, Disney's El Capitan Theatre across the street, and the Hollywood sign (from the viewing area on the 3rd level, I think, of H&H) and the Dolby Theater (site of the Oscars ceremony). If you still want a bus tour, you can ask for info and buy tickets at the guest services desk at H&H. Also, you can get a parking validation at the guest services desk or at any shop/restaurant.
