TouringPlans crowd update for week of Thanksgiving

I got an email that TouringPlans is stepping down their estimates of crowd levels for some of the week of Thanksgiving. We will be there Sat - Thurs.

I hope this means a slightly better chance at popular dining, FP, and shows and not just that crowded is the new normal and an 8 is equivalent to what was a 10 a few years ago

Disneyland Crowd Tracker Updates!

• November 18, 2017: Disney California Adventure Crowd Level updated from 6 to 5.
• November 20, 2017: Resort-wide Crowd Level updated from 10 to 9.
• November 20, 2017: Disney California Adventure Crowd Level updated from 9 to 8.
• November 22, 2017: Resort-wide Crowd Level updated from 9 to 8.
• November 22, 2017: Disney California Adventure Crowd Level updated from 9 to 8.

could you please leave me a link that defines the numbering system.....because all I found is that the number is not a measure of crowds, but wait times for attractions, which from what I read is why folks find that touring plans has no clue to measure density of crowds. a 30 min wait for canal boats is a 10, that is close to an average wait time when the density of the crowd is a 7 with mulitple refurbs. thank you
