Does anyone follow the guidelines on touringplans.com? It recommends best parks for certain days and parks to avoid on certain days. Just wondering if Dis users go by these "guidelines"?
I swear by Tour Guide Mike (www.tourguidemike.com) . I've used his advice for two years now, never waited more than 10-15 minutes in line, even during high season. I'll never tour Disney World without it again. Unofficial guide is great for research, but the plans were a bit too commando for us. We were exhausted after using them and waited in lines a lot longer.
Other people report differently, but that was our experience.
We just returned from WDW and used the touringplans in Unofficial Guide. I didn't know anything about tourguide Mike, but we found the touring plans in UG to be exceptionally helpful. We did not do everything on there, just didn't have time, but we never waited for more than 15 minutes for a ride. I think it's hard to get all the shows in because they are never scheduled exactly right to do that, and they take quite a bit of time; it seemed like the shows at AK were hard to do.
