It looks like the same Oct. hours and show schedules as before. Still no weeknight Fantasmic.

I think it's more likely they just noticed that attendance is still high, probably due to complaints from subscribers who went this month.

Well honestly I'm a little concerned. I only have one day in DL, we're not even doing DCA, so crowds will be important for me. We're going Thursday Oct. 4th.

Is there anyone who can kindly check the predictions for September 27 - 30? If you can, I'd really appreciate it. Not that it will change our plans, I'm just curious. It's already predicted to be much hotter than I was hoping for. So, I'm wondering if it will be crowded to boot. (please no... I can take the heat or the crowds...not both!)

With one day and one park, you're just going to want to maximize what YOU do. So get there early, have an idea of what rides you want. Know if it's a Magic Morning day at Disneyland or not. If it is and you don't have it, skip Fantasyland until later; if you try to go in when the gates open for you, you'll enter a place that has people already in it. So do something else instead.

When I've done one-day trips, I focus on myself, doing the best I can do, rather than worry about how many other people there will be. Make sense?

Oh, My. Goodness! Saturday Oct. 13th a 10? I'll be there Sunday the 14th - Tuesday the 16th. Sundays are almost always busier than Saturdays these days. Do you have any predictions for my dates?

I was just on TP as well and saw that the 13th was a 10 and had a mild panic attack and decided to check the DIS to see if anyone knew what was up. I remember that date being around a 5 to 6 earlier - seems like a crazy jump to me too. I emailed the address they give in the "contact us" section to see if they would explain the jump, I doubt I'll hear anything too helpful, but I'll post the response here if I get one.

I'm going that day too, saw the double in crowd prediction and almost e-mailed them myself! I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out the cause (LAUSD schedule, Anaheim convention center calendar, etc.). It is pretty alarming to go from a 5 to a 10 with no obvious reason.

I like TP, but I totally agree that it just doesn't make sense to have a weekend in October be the same ranking as NYE, at least not without an easily explainable or obvious cause.

We were there the first week of October in 2009 and it was very crowded. I don't think Disney really has much of an off season anymore, especially with the new Cars Land expansion.
