It looks like my mom (late 70s but very spry) will be joining us on our next trip to DLR. She has not been to Disneyland in almost 35 years and is excited to experience it again. She will likely not tour with us all the time but I want to make sure she enjoys her time in the parks. Also on the trip will be DD 12 and DS 9 who LOVE Disneyland and are all about the rides. Here is my question, what rides, other than the mountains and spinning rides, would you steer clear of? I know not to even offer things like the tea cups (I dont think she even went on those when I was a kid) but are there any rides that seem benign but have snuck up and freaked your friends/family out? The one that most comes to mind is Pirates, because of the drops. I am thinking twice about Soarin too - she's not a fan of heights. What about RSR? Of course it is all up to her, but I just want to guide her the right way.
