Hi:

I've been to WDW probably a dozen times, but not since 2008! We are going in early August (for the first time) since that is the only week my daughter has available......so we hope to make the best of it!

We will be staying onsite at Pop Century and thought about including a Park Hopper for 5 days of theme park excitement.

Should we plan on the early magic hours in every case? In years past, many cast members have pointed out that the early opening days are the busiest.

We've thought about arriving 30 minutes before rope drop - jamming through the am and maybe take a break each day around 1 or 2 til the evening.

Any input would be welcome and appreciated!

Since you have park hoppers, a good strategy is to go to a park with am EMH in the morning (plan on getting there 45 to 60 minutes before opening,) and then hop to another park around lunchtime.

If you aren't hopping, it best strategy is to go to the park that had EMH the day (or night) before.

Sounds consistent to what I learned years ago

Thanks!
