Can anyone tell me about their experience using touring plans? How accurate were they in minimizing wait times?

Thanks!

I've had a great experience with Touring Plans, especially their room request and dining reservation finder tools. In terms of minimizing wait times, the most helpful thing for me is the Lines app. It shows the posted and expected actual waits, and I find that those work very well. I don't create a lot of custom touring plans since everything takes longer with my kids, but the tool is easy to use.

We used the plans before we had kids. We have not used them with the boys, but will for our trip later this month. They are getting much better at being able to walk past an attraction with a long line and wait until our FP time. There is a version that requires less cross crossing of the parks.

I also agree that the Lines app is great.

My sub actually runs out in two days.

I use everything on the site except the touring plans. I play around with them in my planning phase but in the park themselves? No thanks. The reason why is because I don't want to be staring at my phone all day making sure I'm taking the exact path to the next ride and constantly refreshing and optimizing the plan. My planning style and park style are basically you plan for the big things (meals, fastpasses, shows, fireworks etc) and let everything else come as to me during the day and enjoy the experience.

I use my 4th fastpass and beyond to dictate what I do for the most part.
