I'm really going overboard lol. 30 days out and I think I now want to do a touring plan. Not sure how detailed they are. Anyone here use them to success with a 2.5yo? I'd hate to waste the $13

I signed up and have made them but our trip is next week so don't know how well they work yet.
So far Touring Plans was easy to use and it is nice to have an idea of wait times and how best to structure the day. DD is 4 but has autism so I felt it was worth it in our situation to try and minimize wait times and to allow us to plan out FP and DAS use.
I can update in a week and a half after our trip how they worked for us.

We also haven't used it yet, but I really like how I can customize it and tell it that we want our walking speed to be very slow (as opposed to moderate or fast). I think that's really important with toddlers and preschoolers!

Agreed. Does it have to be done via computer or can I create a custom plan via phone? My pc is on the fritz.
Does it drag you around to multiple lands like recommend rope drop plan maps suggest.? I'd like to do Fantasyland before nap time and Tomorrowland after. Can I specify this kind of thing or does it have me zigzag from Pan to Astro?

I used it, but that was before fp+ and when I was doing more headliners. I would spend th $13, though if you have the book (or go to Barnes and noble to use it there) you can save some money :). At the end of the day it isn't too much $$.

You can personalize, so if you want you can move the fantasyland attractions to morning and Tomorrowland to after nap.
I added our fast passes which are all over so that kind of messed up the grouping for us.

Quick update of our experience using Touring Plans.
For us it was definitely worth the cost.
It helped us plan things out so we could
Make
The most of our park time while still taking a nice midday break.
We did depart from the plan at times (at MK Minnie was coming out for a M&G just as we walked passed so we hopped in
The very short line for one example)
I also found it helpful to be able to pull up the wait times part of the app, for example we were having dinner at Epcot and overestimated the time to get there so we pulled up the app to get the real wait time for various rides.

I used it very loosely last year, more so in the planning FP+ and which part of the parks go with which day and I it was helpful. This year I am going to give my husband the run down on how to use the Ap or actually print out some of the plans and bring them with us so we will hopefully stay a little more on track. One thing I don't like about it is that it does not have a lot of the meet and greets on there(either that I don't know how to find them). We do a lot of meet and greets!
