Though it must be acknowledged that the changing dynamics of both the Disney business and the economy in general have made crowd planning more challenging.

All of that said, I find the information and the logic behind easyWDW's recommendations to be as good as possible.

I am also someone who hasn't been in 6 years and was a TGM follower in the past. I do have a subscription to TP, but am loosely basing our parks more on Easywdw, only because I feel his philosophy on which parks to avoid and choose is better matched to TGM, which was always great for us. I use TP for many other things, but after a few trips to DL I have found the predicted crowd levels to be waaaaay off in many instances. Anyway- I like both and use both for different reasons and it will be interesting to see, because there are some extreme differences in the two sites for some of our days in Sept. We'll see!

I used Touring Plans for years, but switched to EasyWDW because it was free - and I love Josh's posts! More importantly, I have found Josh's website to be more accurate in terms of crowd predictions.

Josh dominates. He's smart, funny - and takes GREAT photos! TONS of great info.

I like both. I like TP for the customized touring plans and for the individual crowd #s for each park. Ive never put much stock in the recommended parks because we like to do some morning EMHs (which is always not recommended). But I do use the individual crowd #s given by TP and then also read Josh's recommendations before making my decision.
