I have two relatives (one adult woman and one 6yo girl) who will be visiting WDW for the first time this spring. I have booked them into Pop Century. I would like to be able to provide touring plans for each ofteh park to them. I guess I could create these myself, but I wondered if such touring plans (what rides to do when and in what order, etc.) existed anywhere on the web. That would save me lots of time in trying to help them have the best experience possible. I know touring plans are available in the Unofficial Guide, but I have given away all my recent copies and don't want to buy this year's if I can avoid it (sorry lentesta:blush: :wave2: ).

I would second Tour Guide Mike. He has touring plans geared towards children that might be helpful. We are planning to use them in February, though we will "customize" them just a bit. :D

Twelve bucks, Zippa! What's that in the overall cost of a Disney vacation? :p That's....that's room tax on the Pop Century!

For freely available plans of MGM, I like Matt's site. Hey Matt.

Gawrsh, I'm really not that tight. Guess I've shamed myself into running out and buying the book. Maybe I'll wait until after Christmas when Barnes and Noble is a bit less crowded.

Jeez. Who'da thunk my mom's guilting gene got passed to me? ;)

Zippa, check your personal messages. I sent you something.

Sorry Zippa, a bit OT, but -- Hey Len!

Do you think crowds will be much heavier for a Saturday Spectro as opposed to Tuesday the first week of February? We've never seen it and are "trying" to finalize our plans -- again...LOL

Hey Jcemom!

Saturday will may be a bit more crowded than Tuesday, as you're likely to have more local visitors over the weekend.

If you're looking specifically at Saturday, February 7 versus Tuesday, February 10, I think Tuesday is your best option. For one thing, the park is open the same hours both days (until 8 p.m.), and both have Spectro at 7 and Wishes at 8.

I wouldn't worry about going to the MK on a DS EMH day, either. The crowds at the Studios should be relatively light, and the park is open until 7 most days, so you'll be able to see most everything in 10 hours.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Len! My choices were Saturday the 7th or Tuesday the 3rd, which is our arrival day. Saturday "fit" better with our plans, but I think (as long as we have no flight delays) that we will have time on Tuesday for dinner and Spectro/Wishes. (We have Cirque tickets for Tuesday the 10th.) Thanks again!

Hey Tracey,

Didn't realize you're staying at the AKL. A fantastic resort. I'd definitely spend an hour or two touring the grounds. Have others mentioned the night-vision goggles and campfire stories to you?

Len

Yes, AKL seems to get many very good reviews. I'm so excited to be able to stay there! I am a MAJOR animal lover...lol. I know my boys will be thrilled to get to look through the night vision goggles! (We will be taking our binoculars also.) I, myself, am looking forward to the storytelling! I think it's such a great opportunity to experience something so unique. Of course, that's how I'm viewing the entire AKL "experience." I won't be visiting Africa anytime soon, so this is the closest I expect to get! I can't wait! :hyper:
