Touring Plans Crowd Calendar

Yeah, I'm old. I don't "get" twitter. How to read it, how to post to it, how to "follow" things. I've tried, really have. But it's just work so I gave up. But I do realize that I'm old and most folks do tweets just fine

I still don't think it's a regular monthly/regular thing for Josh any more

I just started to use Twitter about 6 months ago...wasn't really sure about the entire thing but I love it now. I don't post anything...I just read stuff. I follow law enforcement, weather, traffic conditions, and Disney bloggers. I find it much easier to find stuff that is current and most up to date without being buried in ads or filtered too much.

I find that Josh updates Twitter more often than his webpage.

There was a blog post today explaining the changes. More than 50% of the time they're dead on or off by 1. I'd say that's pretty good for predictions done just by following historical data, school calendars, etc. I've noticed that they're a bit more aggressive now. I would rather be surprised by lower crowds than higher crowds. But I think that's just the rule of thumb with going to WDW now.

I'll try to find time to check it out again. I couldn't even figure out how to read things. Sad thing is I used to be pretty on top of tech. Once upon a time. Now I'm old and can't keep up. I know how they felt when horseless carriages, electricity and talking movies started ;)

You and me both, I don't tweet, I don't intagram, I don't pintrest. I do have a facebook account but only because I had to have it for a web site I used to write reviews for, now I just use it to keep up with family and friends and rarely post anything myself.

As far as crowd calendars, I'm one of the few who have never looked at them and seem to do fine without them. They are at best an educated guess and you just can't predict how people are going to act.

When you get it figured out Angi, please come back and teach me. In return I'll tell you how I lost my job as theater organist when the damn talkies came along.:rolleyes1

Off Topic but does anyone remember the Beverly Hillbillies episode when they were showing Ben Hur and Cousin Pearl played the organ and Jeffine sang ride them chariots Ben Hur? Funniest episode ever.

Back to topic now.

I bet they've done that based on how small crowds have been so far this summer. While I hope that is a sign that it will continue on in to August and September I do wonder just how they can know that
And yes, I have read their blog posts and I rarely completely grasp their thought patterns
But, I don't track this stuff for a living and numbers make my brain ache ;)
I know it! And from the information I've read here, you have to take those predictions with a grain of salt for sure! Sure would be nice though! :)

I had a chance to look over some of the changes more closely. Magic Kingdom is now listed as a 6 for Easter Sunday. EP is a 9 and HS and AK are at 7. This number seems low for MK. Is this possible? Anyone been on Easter Sunday before?

We are going August 23-30, and I'm praying it's slow like June. Go in October everyone!!!!

I got the email too and some days went up, some went down. But with Touring Plans and Kenny the Pirate and Orlando Crowd Calendar all being pretty much the same, I am good with the parks I have selected on each day. AK day is a 2!!!! Let's hope that is true! We go Jan 9th-19th.

I think this is because EP offers various egg hunts/games & lots of families will want to play on Easter Sunday, so that will draw people away from MK.

Mr. & Mrs. Bunny will be at both EP & MK, but MK has no egg hunts.

You guys are lucky! I go in mid August and the new numbers have the crowds going up in all the parks over my stay. Drats!!
