Are these worth the subscription? I know it's cheap, but *I'm* cheap, so I want to make sure I'm getting something for my $8. If I read the Unofficial Guide (twice, because I'm going to have to read 2019 and then 2020 just for the Galaxy Edge section), obsessively read and post around these parts, and download the Disney app for line times, is there anything else Touring Plans/Lines can offer to help me be even better prepared?

For DLR I do not recommend it. For WDW I usually get a subscription.

I agree with @HydroGuy. It's a must-have for me at WDW, but I am just back from DLR and did not really find it helpful. Their crowd estimates were WAY off (they predicted heavy crowds and they were thankfully very low) and they don't have the functionality to factor in park hops or really take advantage of MaxPass. And, unlike WDW, when TP's live line estimates differed from Disney's, at DLR Disney's were usually much closer to what we actually experienced. Several people recommended RideMax for DLR, so I got it, but didn't find that to be any more useful than TP there to be honest. If you know the layout of the parks, are familiar with the various rides, and can apply basic touring strategies yourself, you can save the money and be fine at DLR. And this is coming from someone who swears by TP at WDW and highly recommends it to both newcomers and veterans going there.

Manually create your own touring plan using the app. But you have to take crowd estimates with a grain of salt.
Yeah, the touring plan
Thanks! I’m not too worried about crowd calendars though. I’m just going to go with the presumption that the crowds will be crazy no matter what and plan accordingly. It sounds like TP/Lines won’t help significantly in that regard though, so I’m glad I asked.

I responded to the wrong post... I have no idea how I did that. Sorry.
