I went ahead and got this, as our trip is next week and we've never gone when it's crowded before.

To me, this doesn't seem realistic, does it??

ETA: this was given for Monday June 17th.

Astro 8:02 am
Peter Pan 8:07am
Mr Toad’s 8:13am
Alice 8:17a
Dumbo 8:24a
Snow white 8:31a
Casey 8:37a
Pinocchio 8:43a
Star tours 8:50a

I thought that doing PP first was a must, not making a stop at AO. Not to mention still only having a 2 min wait?

Anyone care to weigh in?

thank you!

I don't think you could manage that, just with time to get on and off the rides and walk to each of them. With zero people in line it would be close, but realistically I'd say closer to 2 hours to do that.

Peter Pan is sometimes better after the initial rush, one time we were #10 rider, and we walked on right after, but that was in the rain. I would do Pan first just to be sure, I always do Pan, Dumbo and then the rest. Pan and Dumbo are the only real lines there.

I definitely wouldn't do Astro Orbitor before Peter Pan.

If Astro Orbitor is a priority for your family, I would do...

Peter Pan
Dumbo
Alice
Astro Orbitor
Carry on with your morning.

I would bet money that you couldn't be on any ride at 8:02 AM on a day when park opening is at 8:00. I've noticed that rope drop is almost always a minute or two late - add the time to get to a ride - and even then it may not be operating immediately.

The "advice" to go to Astro Orbitor before Peter Pan is absurd. To add more nonsense, if you can complete a ride on Astro Orbitor, and board Peter Pan five minutes later, you have supernatural powers.

I see so many posts here from people who swear by these ride-order programs. I just don't get it.

Okay that's what I was thinking. Totally not believing it.

I'll rearrange some things and see what times it spits out. I want it to be as accurate as possible, just so I have a good idea of what to expect...

thanks for the input!!

Less than a week til we're there! DCA on Saturday, DL Monday, and both on Tuesday. YAY!

I used Touring plans and had them printed to take into the park each day. However I think using mousewait while in the park made way more sense. I threw my plans away everyday because they didn't work. They did give me a sense of directions but when I broke them I got confused on what to do next and went back to the app to see what wait times were.

If you want to be on a ride at 802 you need to be in line at bag check by 710-715 or you won't be in the front of the line to go in and you won't get the full early time in the park.

That does seem kind of off. Be sure to email the team at TouringPlans if you have any questions about your plan... they're very helpful, and if there is an issue with the algorithm, they will try to fix it. They just pushed an update recently, so maybe that screwed something up.

I've noticed that it often tells you to do Astro Orbitors first, probably because it's the first ride you will pass. Try adjusting the Waiting Vs Walking settings and see how it changes the order. I would also recommend changing the Walking Speed to either Relaxed or Very Relaxed to make the times between rides seem more realistic when you take into account loading and unloading of the rides.

Even then, you'll probably need to move some of the rides around to give you an order that works for you.

Thank you so much for the input! I made some adjustments, and hopefully we'll be able to at least loosely follow it tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.

I can't wait!

Let us know how it works. I'm playing with Touring Plans now for our next trip, and I'd like to know if its close to being accurate. I probably won't try to do everything exactly as it is printed on the itinerary, but at least it gives a general plan of what to do and when. I'm spending so much time creating the plan (it's kind of fun) that by the time I'm done I probably won't even need to print it and take it to the park with me...I've practically have every step memorized. :)
